This policy explains what information this website collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers amykclarkdesign.com and the consultation form on the Contact page.

Who this policy covers
This is the website of Amy K Clark Design, a custom drapery, blinds and shades, upholstery, and soft furnishings business serving Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. Any question about this policy can be sent to hello@amykclarkdesign.com.
What this site collects
Information submitted through the consultation form. When someone fills in the form on the Contact page, this site collects: name, email address, phone number (optional), city or neighborhood, a description of the room and project, an optional description of themselves and how they use the room, project type, budget range, timeline (optional), photographs (optional), a description of existing colors or furnishings to work around (optional), and how they heard about the business.
Standard technical information. Like any website, this site’s hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information with every visit, for example IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is standard server activity logging, not a tracking system, and it is not used to build a profile of any visitor.
This site does not currently use analytics, advertising trackers, or tracking cookies. If that changes in the future, this policy will be updated to say so before it happens.
How this information is used
Information submitted through the consultation form is used to:
- Respond to the inquiry and follow up about a possible project
- Send an automatic confirmation email when the form is submitted
- Schedule and prepare for a discovery call or in-home consultation
Nothing submitted through the form is used for advertising, sold, or shared with any third party except the two service providers below, who process it only to make the form and its emails work.
Who this information is shared with
Two outside services are used to run this site’s contact form, and both receive the information submitted through it:
- Netlify. Hosts this website and stores form submissions.
- Resend. Sends the automatic confirmation email and the internal notification email that a submission triggers.
Neither service is used for advertising or marketing beyond what is described in this policy. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle data on their platforms.
How long information is kept
Form submissions are kept as long as they are useful for following up about a project, and are deleted on request (see below). This site does not have an automated data-deletion schedule at this time.
Your choices
To ask what information is on file, to correct it, or to have it deleted, email hello@amykclarkdesign.com. Reasonable requests will be honored within a reasonable time.
Children’s privacy
This site is not directed at children, and it does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when it does. Continued use of the site after a change means the updated policy applies.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the state in which Amy K Clark Design operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
